From the meeting
At its August 20, 2026 meeting, SCGA received an update on the South American Subbasin 2027 Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) process. Staff said the completed Periodic Evaluation had already been received on June 18, 2026 and the draft 2027 GSP was released for public review. The Board was not asked to approve the plan at this meeting.
Final approval and submittal to DWR are expected later in 2026 before the January 27, 2027 filing deadline.
