From the meeting
At its August 18, 2026 meeting, Council supported the Municipal Finance Officers' Association of Ontario's request that the Province make permanent the doubling of the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) from $200 million to $400 million annually. The resolution was forwarded to provincial ministers and the local MPP. This is a policy and funding signal, not a procurement, but it points to future municipal infrastructure renewal financing.
