From the meeting
At its August 13, 2026 meeting, DCPT discussed FY27 Rural Operating Assistance Program (ROAP) funding and said it had submitted the application. NCDOT allocated $78,257 for the Elderly and Disabled Transportation Program, $87,702 for the Rural General Public Program, and $12,539 for the Employment Transportation Assistance Program. The application is already in, so the sales signal is around grant-supported operating services and any follow-on implementation or reporting support.
