From the meeting

At its August 12, 2026 meeting, the board approved updates to Mobilization Policy #312. The draft replaced the Lewis County total burn restriction trigger with the Washington State DNR Fire Danger Rating for the local FDRA, using "Very High" or "Extreme" to limit mobilizations outside the Central Region. It also clarified salaried employee participation, backfill verification, post-deployment rest and recovery, and time reporting.

The motion carried 5-0.
