THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
Council approved an extra $20,000 to finish the City Water System Plan and respond to 59 Department of Health comments. Consultant Varela is already engaged and the plan is tied to consolidating the Ferry County Fairgrounds into the city water system. This confirms Varela as incumbent on water planning and signals future capital and construction work once the plan is finalized.
DOH has issued conditional approval to add Ferry County Fairgrounds to the water system, contingent on final Water System Plan approval.
