THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The County completed a $100,000 CDBG Planning Grant for revitalization of the Briery Branch Community Center, submitting final deliverables July 1, 2026. The work produced architectural concepts, site and septic studies, and a childcare needs assessment, but the County is not currently pursuing a CDBG Implementation Grant. This positions a future capital project for the center where design, construction, childcare operations, and fundraising support could be needed.
Planning assessed feasibility of renovating BBCC for childcare and community use; implementation funding and project not yet defined.
