PUC Staff Backs Hunter Lifeline Service Expansion

The Oregon Public Utility Commission staff recommends approval of Hunter Communications & Technologies, LLC’s supplemental application to expand its federal ETC and state ETP designated service area for Lifeline services. The expansion will allow Hunter to offer federal and Oregon Lifeline discounts to additional low-income households across eleven counties, funded by the federal Universal Service Fund and the Residential Service Protection Fund.
