Franchise period is twelve years from August 6, 2022, the expiration of the previous Board-issued Certificate. During the term and any renewal, Comcast must maintain a local office, comply with the line extension policy (Appendix I), provide PEG access, and offer free basic service and installation to certain municipal facilities, schools, and libraries within specified distances of the plant. The Borough retains rights to review performance and petition the Board for modification or termination upon notice and opportunity to cure non-compliance.
