Description

Mount Vernon plans to enter a five-year contract with College Township for the city’s fire department to provide fire and EMS coverage in the township from June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2031. Under the agreement, the township and Kenyon College will collectively pay the city $500,000 annually in semiannual installments, with automatic five-year renewals absent timely termination.
