Alameda County to Collect Albany Parcel Tax

The City of Albany says Alameda County will continue collecting the EMS/ALS/Fire parcel tax on the city’s behalf if Measure Q is approved. The tax is estimated to generate $2.5 million annually for paramedic, advanced life support, firefighting, equipment, and ambulance services.
