The City of Phoenix Public Transit Department is recommending City Council approval of a professional services agreement with GIRO, Inc. to upgrade the region’s HASTUS transit scheduling and dispatch software and extend its maintenance through 2033 for an amount not to exceed $2,790,000. The two-year services agreement, beginning around July 1, 2026, and extended maintenance will ensure up-to-date technology and continued support for regional bus and rail scheduling operations.
