The Humboldt Local Agency Formation Commission authorized the City of Trinidad to provide water service connections to two residential parcels outside the city’s boundary for a connection fee of $7,500 per connection, plus construction costs and a $5,000 fair-share annexation fee per parcel. The City must pursue annexation within one year, and if not submitted in three years, the fee is refunded less costs. Service is subject to additional recorded agreement and compliance with local regulations.
