SUMMARY
The City of Lawrence is soliciting bids for the MS-2198012 24th Street Storm Sewer Replacement project located in the 1200 Block of East 24th Street. The scope of work involves the excavation and installation of approximately 550 linear feet of stormwater pipe, connection to an existing inlet, and installation of two 6’x4’ City Standard Curb Inlets. Additional requirements include backfilling with flowable fill, reconstruction of sidewalks, drives, curb and gutter, saw cutting, asphalt edge street patching, and resetting three mailboxes. The contractor is also responsible for temporary traffic controls, erosion control, seeding, site restoration, and adjusting existing water services and irrigation systems. Submissions are due by October 7, 2025, at the City's submission location.
