SUMMARY
The City of Eustis is soliciting proposals for alternatives to its existing Sci-Text control network for water and wastewater infrastructure. The project encompasses wastewater lift stations (LSs), Wastewater Treatment Facilities (WWTFs), and Water Treatment Plants (WTPs). The current system utilizes a two-way alarm/monitoring system with text messaging, polled via master modems at the Bates Avenue WWTF. The City uses VTScada (Trihedral) for its Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI), communicating via MODBUS protocol. The new solution must allow users to request real-time data, acknowledge alarms, and control outputs via cellular devices. Submissions are due by January 16, 2025.
