Open RFPs and RFQs across 100,000+ agencies, filtered your way
Once an RFP or RFQ is posted, speed and fit matter. Ask directly for what's open, by category, dollar value, or region, without a separate search portal.

Matches open RFPs and RFQs by category, state, and minimum value
Checked against earlier pre-RFP signals where available
RFPs, cross-checked against the signal that came before them
An open RFP or RFQ is easiest to act on when you already know whether Civic IQ flagged it as a pre-RFP signal earlier, and this page covers that combined view.

How do you query it?
One connection gives you both halves of the pipeline: pre-RFP signals months out, and what is open today. How to connect.

What does RFP & RFQ tracking cover?
Two things worth settling before you filter anything: what the two solicitation types actually are, and what the signal history attached to each posting gives you.
RFP vs RFQ
An RFP is proposal-based: the agency describes a problem and asks vendors how they would solve it, usually scoring approach alongside price. An RFQ is quote-based against a defined specification, where price does most of the deciding. Both are covered here, and you can filter them together or separately depending on whether you are hunting for fit or for volume.
The signal cross-check
Each open posting is checked against whether Civic IQ flagged the same agency and topic as a pre-RFP signal earlier. An RFP you saw coming twelve months ago is a different pursuit from one you found the day it posted: you know the history, the committee, and who was in the room.
What can you ask it?
Plain language, the way you would brief a new rep. No query syntax, no tool names.
“What traffic engineering RFPs are open in the Midwest?”
Open solicitations in your category and region, with closing dates.
“Show me open RFQs in my category above $100k, closing in the next 30 days.”
Value and deadline filters, for the pursuits worth resourcing now.
“Did we see any signals from this agency before this RFP posted?”
The cross-check: signal history behind a specific posting.
“Summarize this solicitation and tell me who else has been paid by this agency in the category.”
Chains the posting with spend history: scope plus incumbent in one answer.
How is this different from bid boards?
Bid notification services
Boards tell you what posted. This tells you what posted and whether you had warning: the signal history attached to each posting is the difference between reacting and having prepared for it.
Checking portals manually
State portals are one jurisdiction at a time, each with its own categories and its own idea of a search interface. This is one query across the full SLED universe, with value and category filters that mean the same thing everywhere.
Pre-RFP signals alone
Signals are the early game and postings are the deadline game. This is the second half of the same pipeline, on the same connection, and most teams need both in that order.

An RFP is proposal-based: the agency describes a problem and asks vendors how they would solve it, usually scoring approach alongside price. An RFQ is quote-based against a defined specification, where price does most of the deciding. Both are covered, and you can filter them together or separately.
Pre-RFP Signals covers the months before a solicitation exists, when requirements are still being shaped. This covers what is open right now, with a deadline attached. Same connection, opposite ends of the same pipeline.
No. This is state, local, and education coverage. Federal solicitations are published through SAM.gov; this covers the SLED agencies that system does not reach.
Yes. The MCP server requires a Civic IQ plan with MCP access, and it answers as your account, so your platform permissions carry over unchanged.
