SUMMARY
PCL/Sundt JV is soliciting DBE, SLBE, MBE, WBE, and OBE contractors to submit proposals for Bid Package 5 of the Advanced Water Purification Facility for El Paso Water in El Paso, Texas. The new large-scale water treatment project will directly purify treated wastewater from the Roberto R. Bustamante WWTP for potable reuse, utilizing advanced treatment technologies such as microfiltration/ultrafiltration, nanofiltration/reverse osmosis, UV advanced oxidation, granular activated carbon, stabilization, and chlorine disinfection. Bid Package 5 scopes include Tilt-Up Walls and Structural Steel, CMU Masonry, Doors & Door Frames & Hardware, Glass & Glazing, Walls, Ceilings, Finishes, Wet Pipe Fire Extinguishing Systems, and HVAC. Proposals are due on April 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM MT, and a non-mandatory in-person pre-bid site walk is scheduled for April 1, 2025, at 10001 Pan American Dr, El Paso, TX. The federally funded project is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates, Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements, and federal labor standards.
