SUMMARY
The City of Palatka is seeking bids for a qualified and licensed contractor(s) for the construction of stormwater improvements within the City of Palatka, Florida. The construction will involve construction of new stormwater collection/conveyance systems in three separate areas within the City. Elements of the work include clearing and grubbing, removal of existing concrete installation of new stormwater collection/conveyance and inlets, manholes, and junction boxes. Other work-related items include milling and resurfacing of roadway, roadway reconstruction and other related restoration work as a result of the new stormwater system installation. This project is funded under Federal Register Notice (84 FR 45838, 8/30/2019) through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-MIT) program in response to Hurricane Irma and to mitigate future flooding. The HUD funding was awarded and administered by the Florida Department of Commerce under subgrant agreement IR042.

Primarily on price, submitter's experience, qualifications, proper licensing, active registration with SAM.gov (with no debarment or exclusions), and performance on other jobs.
