SUMMARY

BG Consultants is requesting proposals on behalf of the City of Emporia Public Works for a 450 kW trailer mounted, diesel fueled, portable electric generator. Sealed proposals will be accepted at the Public Works office until 2:00 p.m. on January 07, 2026. The scope includes a complete and operable mobile electric generating system with a 450 kW and 562.5 kVA output, trailer-mounted engine-generator set, engine-generator control console, fuel tank and fuel, starting batteries, battery chargers, and trailer components. The evaluation and award of the bid will be primarily based on overall cost, with secondary consideration given to time of completion or schedule of delivery of the portable genset equipment.
