SUMMARY
The City of Emporia is soliciting sealed bids for the 2025 Street Rehabilitation (Various Streets) Project No. PV2501. The scope of work includes approximately 32,400 SY of asphalt milling (2" and 4" depth), 5,141 tons of HMA, 265 SY of asphalt patching, concrete pavement removal and replacement, 1,253 LF of curb and gutter, 186 SY of concrete sidewalk, and 147 SY of sidewalk ramps. The project also includes utility adjustments for valve boxes and manholes, permanent seeding, and traffic control across a base bid and three add alternates. Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond and the successful contractor will be required to furnish 100% statutory, performance, and maintenance bonds. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for April 1, 2025, and bids are due by April 8, 2025.
