SUMMARY

The City of Alameda is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed roofing contractors for a 4-year on-call roof repair and emergency water-loss prevention services contract across approximately 76 City-owned facilities, including City Hall, City Hall West, Alameda Free Library buildings, Recreation and Parks buildings, and Police and Fire facilities. The scope of work encompasses emergency leak response and containment, temporary weatherproofing such as tarping and shrink-wrapping, water redirection and drainage clearance, roof leak tracing, core sampling and substrate inspection, permanent roof repairs and restoration for low-slope flat roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, PVC, EPDM) and steep-slope systems (asphalt shingles, tiles, slate, metal), flashings, penetrations, preventative maintenance, pre-storm seasonal inspections, and debris and drainage maintenance. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis with a total four-year contract value not to exceed $500,000, compensated on a time-and-materials basis with a not-to-exceed limit per work order. Submissions are due by October 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Bid questions are due by October 6, 2026.
