KCATA plans to expand its existing contract with Titan Security to add 20 additional officers during June and July 2026 to support World Cup transit operations at high‑ridership stops in Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. The short-term amendment was approved by the Security Subcommittee and will enhance passenger and operator safety during tournament service surges.
