SUMMARY

West Basin Municipal Water District is seeking qualified firms to perform annual groundwater modeling and reporting services in support of the ongoing West Coast Basin Barrier Project (WCBBP). The WCBBP uses a hydraulic barrier to prevent seawater intrusion into groundwater aquifers and is regulated by Barrier permit R4-2006-0069 issued by the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board (LARWQCB), Title 22 Recycled Water Regulations for Groundwater Recharge, and the Recycled Water Policy. Services include updating the MODFLOW/SEAWAT groundwater model annually for five consecutive years, running the model to produce output files and maps of groundwater elevations and recycled water percentages, preparing annual technical memoranda, and assisting with the Five-Year Engineering Report requiring a California Professional Geologist (PG) stamp.
