SUMMARY
Wakulla County is seeking bids for the rebid construction of the Dr.
MLK Jr. Memorial Road Multipurpose Path. The work includes clearing and grubbing, mobilization, maintenance of traffic, Type B stabilization, optional base group 1, turnout construction, Superpave asphaltic concrete traffic B, pipe culverts in HDPE and RCP, mitered end sections, aluminum pedestrian and bicycle railing, concrete slope pavement, performance turf and sod, earthwork, extending roof drains, cut and patch, detectable warnings, single post and assembly ground-mount signs, painted and thermoplastic pavement markings, sidewalk, curbs, and driveways. Bidders must meet FDOT pre-qualification requirements in work classes 11 Grading, 11 Grassing Seeding and Sodding, 28 Pavement Marking, and 40 Other (Sidewalks, Curbs, Driveways). A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit was held on July 16, 2026. Bids are due by August 11, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. to the Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners.
