SUMMARY

The Tampa Sports Authority is requesting bids for the complete surface preparation, repair, and repainting of all metal and masonry surfaces of the Steinbrenner Field Pedestrian Overpass Bridge, crossing North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, Florida. The work encompasses industrial painting of the bridge undercarriage, masonry towers, tower metal roofs, with an optional scope to paint the supports, crossmembers, and curbs of the eastern pedestrian ramp. Specific requirements include power washing, SSPC-SP3 power-tool cleaning, epoxy priming, polyurethane and acrylic latex coatings matching New York Yankees custom color formulas, joint caulking replacement, and masonry crack repairs. Contractors must have a minimum of five years of experience in industrial painting with bridge projects, hold current licensing in Hillsborough County, and provide required bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, and insurance.
