SUMMARY
Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide concrete sealant services at OCTA-owned facilities including maintenance and/or operations bases, park-and-ride facilities, transportation centers, and the OC streetcar base, maintenance storage facilities, and platforms on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes surface preparation such as cleaning, crack filling, and patching, as well as the supply, delivery, and application of approved concrete sealants including penetrating sealants, water-based acrylic sealers, solvent-based acrylic sealers, and epoxy or polyurethane sealers by spray, roller, or brush, followed by cleanup and waste disposal. The budget for this one-year contract is $250,000, and it is a prevailing wage contract subject to California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and Davis-Bacon requirements.
