SUMMARY

Missouri Western State University (MWSU) is seeking competitive proposals for the replacement of the existing roof system at the Kit Bond Incubator located in St. Joseph, MO. The scope of work includes preparing the roof for an overlay TPO roof system, mechanically fastening 1/2-inch high-density polyiso insulation to the deck, installing a Carlisle (or approved equal) 60 mil TPO fully adhered roof system, flashing all walls and roof penetrations, furnishing and installing a new 24-gauge coping cap matching existing, reusing existing coping above metal wall panels, removing and reinstalling the lightning rod system, removing and disposing of all debris, daily cleanup, and providing a 20-year manufacturer's warranty covering materials and labor. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for October 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CST at the job site (4221 Mitchell, Saint Joseph, MO 64507). Proposals are due by October 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CST. Submission requirements include a 5% bid bond, Attachment A (Pricing and Experience/References questionnaires), Attachment B (Response Cover Sheet), W-9, and a notarized Affidavit of Work Authorization with E-Verify documentation.
