SUMMARY

The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking prequalified contractors for construction, improvement, reconstruction, or maintenance work involving milling and hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlay on K-168 from US-56 junction north to the south city limit of Lehigh in Marion County, Kansas (Project No. K168-057 KA 8085-01, Contract No. 526106282, Call Order No. 628). The project length is 0.527 miles and includes HMA overlay (SR-12.5A, PG 64-28), quality control testing, emulsified asphalt (SS-1HP), milling, material for HMA patching, asphalt density and air void pay adjustments, asphalt cores, temporary and multi-component pavement markings, traffic control, and mobilization. Contractors must submit electronic internet proposals via Bid Express (bidx.com) using Project Bids software until 1:00 P.M. Local Time on the Letting Date of October 21, 2026.
