SUMMARY
The New York Department of Correction (NYCDOC) is procuring a contract for a vendor (Instructor) to deliver comprehensive, hands-on Barista training at six (6) designated NYCDOC facilities, with an emphasis on coffee preparation, safe and proper equipment operation, workplace safety, sanitation, basic equipment maintenance, and essential customer service skills.
To ensure consistent program delivery and service continuity, the instructor(s) will also support cafe operations when participant attendance is limited, or classes cannot be conducted due to unforeseen circumstances. This solicitation is made pursuant to the M/WBE Small Purchase Method under NYC PPB Rules, exclusively for City Certified Minority and Woman Owned Businesses (M/WBEs). Contracts awarded may not exceed $1,500,000.00.
