SUMMARY

The City of Nassau Bay is requesting sealed bids for the Water and Wastewater Improvements Project (Bid No. 2021-09). The scope of work includes the replacement of approximately 21,400 LF of existing water distribution lines (up to 12" diameter), installation of new fire hydrants, valves, and residential services. It also includes the rehabilitation of approximately 12,700 LF of existing sanitary sewer lines using pipe bursting and CIPP liner methods, along with manhole rehabilitation and service reconnections. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for October 21, 2021. Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond and the successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. This project is contingent upon Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) funding and subject to US Iron and Steel (US I&S) requirements.
