SUMMARY
The City of Lima, Ohio is soliciting sealed bids for the supply of 7,500 tons of Asphalt Concrete (Items 412, 301, or 404) and 20,000 gallons of Bituminous Material (Liquid) for the 2025 calendar year. Materials must meet 1995 O.D.O.T. Construction and Materials Specifications, including specific requirements for bitumen content (minimum 6.2% for Item 404) and aggregate testing for wear, soundness, and deleterious substances. The contract includes furnishing materials at the plant and loading into City trucks, as well as delivery of liquid bituminous materials (RS2, SS1, CBAE 350, CBAE 800) in large capacity tank trucks. Bids are due by 10:00 A.M. on October 8, 2024, at the Municipal Center. Vendors must also comply with local income tax withholding requirements (1.5%) and submit a non-collusion affidavit and personal property tax delinquency statement.
