SUMMARY

The City of Gaithersburg is seeking sealed proposals to establish a Design and Build Contract for the repair and reconstruction of asphalt basketball courts at Morris Park (approx. 5,600 sq ft) and Duvall Park (approx. 5,000 sq ft). The scope includes demolition of existing asphalt, base course inspection and repair, tree root removal, site preparation, laser grading, and installation of new 2” compacted base and surface asphalt courses. Deliverables also include new basketball equipment (hoops, posts, backboards, rims, and nets) conforming to NBA standards, line markings, and site landscape restoration. Offerors must be members of the American Sports Building Association (ASBA) with at least five years of experience. Proposals are due by December 14, 2022, via email to [email protected]. A 5% bid bond is required, and the successful contractor must provide a 100% performance bond.
