SUMMARY

The City of Emporia is soliciting sealed bids for the South Avenue Box Bridge Improvements project (Project No. SW2403), located 330 feet east of Prairie Street. The scope of work includes mobilization, clearing and grubbing, common excavation (17.8 cubic yards), installation of 18-inch shot rock rip rap (156.4 cubic yards), permanent seeding and mulching, and traffic control. Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond and the successful contractor will be required to furnish 100% statutory, performance, and maintenance bonds. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 6, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Bids are due by 3:00 p.m. on August 13, 2024, at the City Clerk's Office.
