SUMMARY
The City of Dunnellon is seeking competitive proposals from qualified and experienced Florida licensed attorneys and/or law firms to serve as Special Magistrate for the City's Code Enforcement Division under RFP#2026-03. The successful proposer will conduct monthly public hearings, hear and decide code enforcement cases, issue findings of fact and conclusions of law, review hearing agendas, administer oaths, and perform related quasi-judicial legal services in accordance with Florida Statutes and City Municipal Code. The initial contract term is two years with two optional two-year renewal terms available. Proposals are due by October 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (EST), with questions due by October 19, 2026.
