SUMMARY

The Cape Girardeau Police Department is accepting sealed bids from qualified heavy-duty towing companies to provide commercial vehicle towing, recovery, transport, storage, and related services. The selected provider will be responsible for 24/7 services including recovery of tractor-trailers, buses, box trucks, dump trucks, refuse vehicles, and trailers, as well as accident/rollover recovery and secure storage. Bidders must demonstrate adequate equipment (wreckers, rotators, tractors), trained personnel, and required insurance coverage. Bids must include a proposed fee schedule for winching, rollover recovery, and administrative fees, along with average response times for the City of Cape Girardeau, I-55, and the Regional Airport area.
