District seeks AWS grant for welding robot purchase

Pasco County Schools, through Fred K. Marchman Technical College, is seeking a $50,000 American Welding Society Foundation Welding Workforce Grant to help fund a collaborative welding robot for its Welding Technology program. The grant would cover part of the $92,846.25 equipment cost, with the remaining balance paid from internal funds, to expand hands-on training in robotic welding.
