Port Orchard, McCormick Communities ink urban village deal

The City of Port Orchard is entering into a ten-year development agreement with McCormick Communities LLC for the McCormick Urban Village, covering 378 middle housing units, retail space, and significant infrastructure. In exchange for design flexibility and vested development standards, the developer will design the City's Parish Creek Augmentation Station with costs to be applied as credits under a future amended water facilities charge credit agreement.

Renewal

Initial term of ten years from effective date; City is prohibited under POMC 20.25.020(7) from extending the termination date via modification of this agreement. Agreement automatically terminates as to individual lots/buildings upon occupancy approval and fully terminates when term expires or property is fully developed and obligations are satisfied.
