County Extends Solid Waste Contract, Approves Landfill Expansion Bonds

Aiken County Council approved an addendum with Three Rivers Solid Waste Authority, extending their solid waste disposal agreement through 2050. The revised contract updates tonnage commitments, increases member rates, and allows the Authority to issue up to $30 million in bonds for landfill expansion.
