The City of Berkeley plans to enter into a new, expanded sole-source contract with GoGo for Fiscal Year 2027 to provide on-demand Uber/Lyft-based rides for seniors and disabled residents. The agreement will replace the taxi scrip program and increase ride availability, including additional trips for high medical-need participants.
