SUMMARY

Williamsburg County is soliciting bids for the demolition of the Old Kelley Hospital under RFB No. 2021-05. The project involves the demolition of an approximately 15,000 square foot vacant hospital and a detached laundry building on a 1.2-acre site located at 110 West Mill Street. Scope of work includes a lead-based paint assessment (field work, reporting, XRF), removal of 800 LF of asbestos, underground storage tank (UST) removal including DHEC fees, landscaping, hauling, grading, and landfill fees by tonnage. This project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG # 4-CE 18-018), and all contractors must be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM).
