SUMMARY
The Town of Lyons has acquired Federal funding through the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) for the design of Third Avenue drainage improvements. For this design, the Town looks to minimize the length and size of the new storm sewer due to shallow bedrock, existing utilities, and cost, utilizing the street and R.O.W. to safely convey the major event where possible. The Town intends to have new storm sewer installed to help convey minor events and capture nuisance flows at roadway intersections. Submissions are due by October 23, 2025.
