SUMMARY

The Sanford Airport Authority is soliciting competitive, sealed proposals for construction services for the Taxiway A West Extension project in Sanford, Florida. The work generally consists of constructing a new P-401 asphalt taxiway, extending Taxiway A approximately 3,950 feet, constructing new Taxiway A1 connector, demolition of existing asphalt pavement, drainage, grading, and pavement marking. Additional scopes include new LED airfield lighting and signage, modifications to existing airfield electrical vault equipment, design of a stormwater dry retention pond and drainage infrastructure, relocating an existing wind cone, and relocating or modifying existing utilities including underground power and fiber.
