SUMMARY
The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (ONWASA) is requesting proposals for the rehabilitation of a softener tank at the Hubert Water Treatment Plant. The scope of work involves furnishing all permits, labor, and materials to remove and dispose of existing media, perform visual inspections and repairs (including spot and patch welding), prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces, conduct pressure testing, and replace brine inlet valves and electronic actuators. New gravel and media must be installed in two steel tank softener vessels. Work must be completed within 30 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on August 19, 2025, at the ONWASA Central Office in Jacksonville, NC. An optional pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for August 13, 2025.
