SUMMARY
The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is opening the North Texas Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Call for Projects to select public sector properties on which to build electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. NCTCOG was awarded $15 million by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) as part of the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Community grant program to build up to 100 EV charging ports on public property in the 16-county NCTCOG region. Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. serves as the Deployment Dream Team to assist public agencies in developing applications and provide implementation support. The submission deadline is October 31, 2025.
