SUMMARY
The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) is seeking research to identify and understand the transportation mobility needs of the aging population in New Jersey. The research will involve mapping areas with high concentrations of older adults, analyzing current and future mobility needs, identifying best practices, and recommending enhancements and funding sources for transportation services for seniors. The project is divided into three phases: mapping, needs assessment, and funding/best practices identification.
