SUMMARY
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the exterior painting of the Stanhope Electrical Building # 7027 located at 89 Rte. 206, Stanhope, NJ 07874, Sussex County - Byram Township. The scope of work includes surface preparation via mechanical, pressure washing, or chemical removal methods; filling cracks and imperfections with concrete filler or caulk; priming concrete surfaces with SW Loxon Concrete Masonry primer/sealer (tinted to SW Arizona Heat) and applying 2 coats of SW Duration Acrylic Latex; and painting exterior metal trim with 2 topcoats of SW Pro Industrial DTM Acrylic (tinted to Ups Brown). Work hours shall primarily be completed after regular business hours, including weeknights and weekends. The submission deadline is October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with a mandatory site visit on September 30, 2026. Contractors must comply with Public Works Contractor Registration, prevailing wage requirements, and achieve a 25 percent small business enterprise (SBE) participation goal.
