SUMMARY

The County of Lake Community Development Department is seeking sealed bids for abatement services under bid number 261860. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and hauling of waste, towing of vehicles and recreational vehicles (RVs), and the demolition of structures for code enforcement purposes. Vendors must provide evidence of Workers Compensation Insurance and maintain at least $1,000,000 in Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability Insurance. Bids are due by 3:00 p.m. on May 8, 2026, at the Lake County Administrative Office in Lakeport, CA. REQUIRED DELIVERABLES

A. Should the vendor have a contract with multiple County of Lake departments, the vendor shall invoice each department separately. B. Vendor shall pay for all fees, permits, and licenses required for abatement work. C. Insurance and Indemnification: Vendor will be required to provide evidence of Workers Compensation Insurance on all its employees and to procure and maintain, at Vendor’s own expense, upon themselves and their employees at all times during the course of this Agreement, Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability Insurance, in an amount of not less than One Million dollars ($1,000,000.00) combined single limit coverage per occurrence.
