SUMMARY

The County of Orange is seeking qualified firms to provide actuarial services related to the Retiree Medical Valuation and the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) consistent with Government Accounting Standard Board (GASB) requirements. The scope includes preparing actuarial study reports, estimating plan liabilities and expenses as of June 30, 2027 and June 30, 2029, tracking UAAL changes, and providing special actuarial services for pension and retiree medical support on an hourly, as-needed basis. The contract duration is three years with an optional two-year renewal, carrying a not-to-exceed amount of $175,000 per year.
