SUMMARY

The City of Tybee Island is seeking proposals for the installation of a fully functional solar array on the flat portion of the Tybee Island Marine Science Center roof located at 37 Meddin Drive, Tybee Island, GA 31328. The project includes providing solar panels with a minimum wattage of 400 Watts per panel, a minimum power output of 42kW, SMA Sunny Boy string inverters, Q-Cell PV modules made in the USA, OMG Power Grip System Plus model #PGRPP-GAF-TPO-WH-8 roof mounts, and Sun Power Helix ST single tilt solar panels. The existing roof is a GAF TPO system approximately 40' x 80', and contractors must coordinate with GAF Guarantee Services to follow a six-step process, pay pre- and post-inspection fees, and obtain a warranty amendment.
