SUMMARY

The City of Sault Ste. Marie is seeking bids for the Smart Zone Breeder Building Repairs project located at 2345 Meridian Street, Sault Ste. Marie, MI. The work involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, transportation, and incidentals necessary for building repairs including the removal, refabrication, and replacement of precast concrete panel wall sections and sill sections, patching delaminated precast sills, repointing mortar joints, patching interior drywall, repairing corroding exterior door framing and exterior doors, patching EIFS finish coat over reinforcing mesh, and replacing EIFS to sill metal flashing sealant. Bids are due by October 12th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. A proposal guarantee of 5% of the total amount of the proposal via cashier's check, certified check, money order, or bid bond is required. The project includes traffic control procedures in accordance with the 2020 MMUTCD and notification to MISS DIG prior to excavation.
