SUMMARY
The City of Mexico Beach is soliciting sealed proposals for the 2022-2023 Artificial Reef Project, RFP # 2023-01. The scope involves the construction, acquisition, and deployment of at least ten pre-fabricated clean concrete artificial reef modules: a minimum of nine 'Module B' units (15-18 feet tall, 10,000-36,000 lbs) and at least one 'Module A' unit (5-6 feet tall, 3,000-6,000 lbs). Deployment will occur at the Crooked Island Site (Permit no. SAJ-1988-60104) approximately 6.3 nm from the Mexico Beach Canal. Total available funding is $120,000.00.
